SVG Tiny PS

The restricted SVG profile BIMI logos must use: SVG Tiny 1.2 with baseProfile tiny-ps, a title, and no scripts, animation or external references.

What it means

BIMI logos are vector files in SVG Portable/Secure, a profile of the W3C's SVG Tiny 1.2 that removes anything risky to render in an inbox. The root element must declare version 1.2 and baseProfile tiny-ps, and include a title element, typically the brand name. Scripts, animation, interactive elements, external links or references, and x or y attributes on the root element are not allowed.

The BIMI Group advises a square image centred on a solid background, since inboxes may crop it to a circle or rounded square, and a file no larger than 32 kilobytes. The BIMI Group notes that design tools do not export this profile directly, so files need editing by hand, by script or with the BIMI Group's conversion tools.

Google notes that the logo is also embedded in the mark certificate's PEM file.

Example

<svg version="1.2" baseProfile="tiny-ps" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" viewBox="0 0 512 512"><title>Example Inc</title>...</svg>
