Yahoo Complaint Feedback Loop
Yahoo's feedback loop: senders who enroll a DKIM signing domain receive a report each time a Yahoo or AOL recipient marks one of their messages as spam.
What it means
Yahoo describes the Complaint Feedback Loop as a domain-based service that only supports DKIM-signed email: to enroll, senders must sign their outbound mail with DKIM so Yahoo can tie complaints to the signing domain. Once enrolled, you receive a report when recipients mark your emails as spam, which Yahoo suggests using to adjust who you target and how often.
The reports follow the feedback-loop model of RFC 6449 and arrive as ARF messages. Yahoo calculates its own spam rate on mail delivered to the inbox, and warns senders to keep that in mind when comparing CFL data with rates computed in their own systems.
Every address reported through the CFL should be suppressed from future mail to keep the spam rate under Yahoo's 0.3% requirement.
